Valentine’s Day at Petersham Nurseries

Valentine’s Day, also known as Friendship Day around the world, is perfect for celebrating those you love.

We are pleased to announce three exclusive experiences across our restaurants with beautiful menus designed by our Executive Chef. Our popular British Flower Bouquets are also returning.

Order a stunning British flower bouquet

At Petersham Nurseries, we pride ourselves on offering the best seasonal, British-grown flowers throughout the year. For Valentine’s Day we will be offering the option to purchase a beautiful spring posie of flowers and foliage grown by our partner flower farm Hortus Poeticus and selected British growers. A combination of scented Narcissus, Camellia, Hellebores, Ranunculus, branches and seasonal delights will be beautifully gift-wrapped and presented at your table on arrival.

As we are using British-grown flowers, please be aware that due to seasonal conditions and availability, the posies may vary slightly from the image.

Bouquets are available to pre-order for collection from Richmond and a selection will be available to purchase in our Covent Garden Wine Bar & Deli as well as The Lifestyle Shop in Richmond.

Valentine’s Day at The Petersham

A Romantic Feast

We are excited to present the Valentine’s Day Tasting Menu, only available at The Petersham in Covent Garden. Six courses of beautiful ingredients and an optional Champagne pairing is also available.

Starting with Cocktails alongside incredible Rock Oysters and a Whipped Cod on Crispy Polenta, followed by an option of Haye Farm Organic Beef Tartare or Sea Bream Crudo with Frigittelli & Dill Dressing. The Middle Course features a creamy Langoustine Risotto with Vesuvian Tomatoes. The Main Course options are an incredible Line Caught Sea Bass or Agnello, Organic Lamb Saddle. Dessert is a decadent Chocolate Tart with Gianduia Mousse. And a romantic feast wouldn’t be complete without a final course of Chef’s Selection of Cheeses.

Valentine’s Day at La Goccia

Sharing Plates & Cocktails
Enjoy a fabulous three-course Valentine’s Day Special Set Menu at La Goccia, including a Cocktail on Arrival.

Starting with sharing Antipasti of Burrata with Radicchio and Balsamic, our Signature Fried Chicken with Aioli and a Chickpea and Mushroom Hummus with Braised Leeks for dipping.
From the Primi selection, choose either a cheesy Risotto Cacio e Pepe, Code with Red Lentils and a wonderful Smoked Cumin Butter or Pork Chop with Plums, Shallots and Balsamic.
Finish with two sharing desserts; Tiramisu with Caramelised Pears, Amaretti and Cinnamon and a delicate Apple Millefoglie.

For post-dinner drinks, make sure to visit The Bar where, alongside his team, head bartender Danilo will be slinging cocktails ’till late.

Six-Course Dinner in Richmond

For a classic Valentine’s meal with a fabulous Petersham Nurseries twist, visit The Restaurant in Richmond for a magical dining experience like no other.

A six-course dinner menu including sharing appetizers and a cheese board to finish is the perfect way to celebrate your loved ones. Courses include an Organic Haye Farm Beef Carpaccio, a wonderfully warming Risotto of Roasted Fennel and Crispy Topinambur, Line Caught Halibut with Samphire and Cannellini Beans, Braised Organic Haye Farm Beef with Truffle Mash, and others.
