Gut Health Urban Retreat: A nourishing day of Yoga and Gut Health Discussions, 15th & 16th February, 10am-4pm £195

Hosted in the elegant setting of Petersham House, The Gut introduces a nourishing day of Yoga, food and gut health discussions.

The Gut is a food focused platform, aiming to start a conversation, enabling and empowering each individual on their journey towards wellness and a healthy gut. Created by Anna Boglione the daughter of Petersham Nurseries’ founders, with menus designed along side acclaimed nutritionist Hannah Richards. The menu are specifically tailored to each event.

This will be a practical day of yoga and gut health discussions, coupled with a tailored lunch menu specifically designed to help your digestion. We round up the day with a delicious sound bath meditation to elevate our vibration to higher levels of consciousness, with an array of exquisite sounds.

Classic Yoga- Pranayama, Kriyas, Asanas, Prayer and Meditation with Billie de Melo Wood

Billie was introduced to Vipassana meditation as a child. This forms the basis of her practice. In 2008 she trained as a Sivananda yoga teacher and since then has expanded her teaching to include pre and post-natal, restorative, Yin, Vinyasa flow, and children’s classes. For this retreat Billie will be teaching a Classic Yoga class including a combination of pranayama, kriyas, asanas, prayer and meditation that inspire a re connection to our human experience. This class is grounding and mid-level intensity that invites all levels and abilities.

The Gut Vegan Menu will be available throughout January at The Petersham. The menu has been created by The Gut in collaboration with Martin Sweeney, Head Chef of The Petersham. Seasonal ingredients have been carefully selected to support your digestive system and make sure your liver is well taken care of this January.
