In partnership with The Gut, we have curated a vegan, detox menu – available exclusively at The Petersham, Covent Garden – full of expertly designed dishes that draw upon the best seasonal ingredients to help nurture your body from the inside out.
The Gut Menu aims to supercharge your health, with dishes such as antioxidant-rich Beetroot, Pear and Cornish Quinoa Salad that offers an anti-inflammatory, detoxifying and probiotic hit for a healthy gut, too. Choose our Onion Squash with Puntarelle, Capers, Chilli and Lentils for a dose of health-boosting vitamin K, as the menu focuses on meals that do good while tasting great. As always, we have opted to work with local suppliers that focus on seasonality; placing as much emphasis on the planet as their produce, including our very own Haye Farm.
As we move into the new year, we turn our attention to a universal truth that connects us all; the breath.
For most, the last couple of years have been shrouded with unease, and when we are anxious, stressed or suffering from trauma, our breath becomes shorter and tighter. However, knowing how to work with your breath has the capability to release such anxieties and realign us with our natural flow. Take a Breath Retreat
This two-day retreat is designed to allow you to drop back into your being by reconnecting to the breath, learning to release and self heal. Kerry Dowson BSc. (Hons) Ost. – an osteopath and expert breath worker – will help you to reconnect your mind and body through breath in order to release tension.
Arrive for a light breakfast before settling into the day with mindfulness meditation. Kerry Dowson picks up the pace with some movement and dancing to invigorate the breath, followed by a deep breathwork practice. Lunch will be set within the plant filled conservatory, whilst the afternoons will play host to yoga, sound healing and discussions. In the early evening relax by the fire before a light dinner and home time.

Sound and Cocoa Workshop
Warm by the fire in the candlelit ballroom of Petersham House, let the aromas of Amazonian Ashaninka cocoa open your heart chakra, as you set intentions and sink into a meditative sound bath led by sound therapist, Marco Florio. Sound has been used in many ancient cultures as a tool for healing and realigning imbalances, and a sound bath is an experience of sound vibration that will be sure to help you unwind and reset.
