Harry Boglione, the brother of Managing Director Lara Boglione, is the visionary behind the brand. Harry can be found most days on his beautiful 65-acre Haye Farm situated within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Using the incredible environment that surrounds him as inspiration, GILT & FLINT is driven by the desire to create delicious and sustainable products fit for the twenty first century.

The Craft Beers

Using age old traditional brewing techniques they create organic modern new world beers, ciders and soft drinks. The craft beers are made using the finest ingredients from the UK and beyond. GILT & FLINT use UK sourced, organic barley and wheat. After the brewing process, the spent grain is fed to livestock on the farm, ending up on the flint fields as natural fertiliser. The water used in the process is tapped from a spring deep below the farm.

Organic Pale Ale

100% organic pale ale. Good body with refreshing citrus aroma. A perfect accompaniment to light seafood or grilled chicken although holds its own with strong spicy flavours. A good all rounder.

Oatmeal Stout

Gilt & Flint’s version of an oatmeal “breakfast” stout. A nod to the early morning market traders of Smithfields in London who would enjoy a dark, chocolatey stout with their bacon sarnies post trading. Full of rich chocolate tones with a subtle hint of coffee. A perfect accompaniment to dessert or rich winter stews.

Organic Helles style lager. A lightly fruity and highly refreshing easy drinking organic lager.

Organic NEIPA

A low bitter, very fruity New England style IPA packed full of grapefruit and citrus hop characteristics. The Pale Ale’s punchier cousin. Pairs well with hot and spicy foods and sweet desserts such as creme brûlée.

Wild Cider

Limited edition wild cider. A very dry, crisp and sparkling table scrumpy. Made from our annual pressing of scrumped apples, this includes 19 varieties from Haye Farm’s lovely neighbours at Trill Farm in Devon. Fermented using wild yeasts over 6 months then chilled and filtered into just 650 bottles.
