“The nursery had been carved out of the grounds of the house in the 1960's, where it was a quiet place with just a few local growers.”

Petersham Nurseries has become one London’s most popular horticultural destinations for shopping, dining o simply to pursue the beautifully manicured gardens. Home to Gael Boglione and husband Francesco, the nurseries opened to the public in 2004, following an extensive restoration project. The nursery had been carved out of the grounds of the house in the 1960s, when it was a quiet place with just a few local growers. Today, the Richmond headquaters is home to not just the gardens, but a cafe, teahouse, garden and lifestyle shop.
