Letters From A Hungry Heart, supper club at Petersham Nurseries Richmond. Food and menu design by Alexandra Dudley and Olly Santoro.

Over the last year we have been separated from our friends and family, Letters From A Hungry Heart is a celebration of food and connectivity. Alexandra Dudley and Olly Santaro will be weaving narrative of their own letters and writings to loved ones through their menu, each dish will be presented with a sentence to inspire your own script. During out the night we invite you to write to someone who holds a piece of your heart, someone that you might have been separated from. Post them in THE GUT post box and they will be mailed out the next day. Guest will be greeted in the glasshouse of Petersham Nurseries Richmond, with an arrival drink and some letter writing motivation to get your thoughts following and tummies rumbling.

Alexandra Dudley is a food writer and cook. A serial entertainer, she hosts regular supper clubs during the summer months at her home in East London. Her cookbook, Land & Sea celebrates seasonality and cooking with ingredients in their entirety. She has a relaxed approach to cooking echoing and drawing inspiration from the flavours and techniques of the Mediterranean and Middle East. She also hosts the podcast, Come For Supper where she sits down with entertainers and food personalities to discuss how they like to entertain and has just launched a mini IGTV series that focuses on the connection between food and nostalgia.

Olly Santoro is a young London based professional chef who has spent her career at well known establishments such as Stanley’s restaurant in Chelsea, headed by Masterchef The Professionals and Roux Scholarship finalist Olivia Burt. She has most recently taken a CDP job offer at Kiln, winner of best London restaurant award in 2018 and sister of Smoking Goat, an open fire restaurant inspired by Thai borderlands. Alongside her work in professional kitchens, Olly has recently co-founded a catering and supper club business. Her menus are often inspired by her Sicilian family roots as well as her time spent around South and East Asia. They delicately combine Mediterranean, South and East-Asian ingredients, techniques and seasonings
