Manincor Wine Dinner

4th December 2018 , Covent Garden

The fourth in a series of special wine maker dinners, hosted in The Petersham, Covent Garden.

About
Manincor is one of the most exciting producers from the Alto Adige region of Italy. The winery is right up in the mountains and they are producing some of the best wines; stunning white blends and sublime pinot noirs. The estate dates back to 1608 and the Manincor and Enzenberg families have been running it together for centuries until 1991 when Count Michel Gross-Enzenberg took over the whole business. It is an impressive estate that’s by no means stuck in the dark ages. They are 100% biodynamic and have a forward thinking approach to sustainability, both key contributors to their impressive wine selection. Matthias Jaeger will be visiting from the estate to talk us through the wines, we will be tasting through two of their whites: Reserve Della Contessa blend and Savignon Blanc Tannenberg and 4 of their pinot noirs: Mason and Mason di Mason. The dinner includes a seasonal five course menu, carefully selected by Chef Director Damian Clisby to pair with these Alto Adige wines.
