Immerse yourself in nourishing practices to help boost your immune system at the very first Gut Health Urban Retreat.

Hosted in the elegant setting of Petersham House, Anna Boglione’s new platform The Gut introduces at their very first urban retreat. A nourishing day of Yoga and gut health discussion with Billie de Melo Wood and Hannah Richards.

This will be a practical day of yoga and gut health discussions, coupled with a tailored lunch menu specifically designed to help your digestion and boost your winter immune system. We round up the day with a delicious sound bath meditation to elevate our vibration to higher levels of consciousness, with an array of exquisite sounds.

Classic Yoga- Pranayama, Kriyas, Asanas, Prayer and Meditation with Billie de Melo Wood

Billie was introduced to Vipassana meditation as a child. This forms the basis of her practice. In 2008 she trained as a Sivananda yoga teacher and since then has expanded her teaching to include pre and post-natal, restorative, Yin, Vinyasa flow, and children’s classes. For this retreat Billie will be teaching a Classic Yoga class including a combination of pranayama, kriyas, asanas, prayer and meditation that inspire a re connection to our human experience. This class is grounding and mid-level intensity that invites all levels and abilities.

Eating for Immunity- Gut friendly lunch curated by The Gut and George Squair

The Gut is a food focused platform, aiming to start a conversation, enabling and empowering each individual on their journey towards wellness and a healthy gut. Created by Anna Boglione the daughter of Petersham Nurseries’ founders, with menus designed by Petersham Nurseries chef George Squair. The menu will be specifically tailored towards eating for immunity, to help your body through these cold spells.

Be the Best Possible You - Insightful stories from author, nutrition and lifestyle coach Hannah Richards

The human body is an amazing and resilient system, and the food we eat, the way we move, and the way we choose to live our lives can all help to keep it in balance and improve our health. Leading nutritionist and lifestyle coach Hannah Richards takes us step-by-step through how to listen to our bodies and take our health into our own hands, by getting back to the basics and building a relationship with every part of our bodies. Hannah is a highly-trained nutritionist with prestigious qualifications matched by only a handful of others in the UK. She is an Advanced Certified Metabolic Typing Advisor, C.H.E.K Holistic Lifestyle Coach level III and a Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist. Hannah is currently advising at The Gut Clinic, and also works alongside various companies including Move your frame, Nike and Sweaty Betty. She has a regular slot on the Chrissy B Show on Sky TV and has commented and written for various publications including Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan, the Daily Telegraph and ES magazine.

George Barker

A musician, producer and transpersonal psychotherapist, George's greatest joy is to help bring life to the sacred in each of us through music, song and community.

Every guest that attends The Gut Health urban retreat will receive a copy of Hannah's latest book, 'Be the Best Possible You'.

Please note parking is restricted in the surrounding area and we encourage our visitors to travel via alternative means of transport whenever possible.

There is no dress code however in these wetter winter months we recommend suitable footwear (even wellies!).
