#CookForSYRIA

9th November 2017 , Richmond

An international fundraising initiative curated by Clerkenwell Boy and Suitcase Magazine in collaboration with Unicef Next Generation to preserve and celebrate Syrian culture amidst one of the largest humanitarian crisis of our time.

About
As we approach the first anniversary of the #CookForSYRIA appeal we are hosting an exclusive Syrian inspired charity supper club, lit by candlelight in Petersham Nurseries Cafe. We will be joined by Clerkenwell Boy, Unicef's NEXTGeneration London and friends of #CookForSYRIA. The four-course banqueting feast will showcase many of the dishes from the bestselling #CookForSYRIA recipe book. Our Executive Chefs, Damian Clisby and Simon Whitley will be joined in the kitchen by Syrian chef, Imad Alarnab, a successful restaurant entrepreneur from Syria, who owned several popular restaurants, juice bars and cafés in his country. When war broke out, Imad had to flee and leave his business empire behind, but now living in the UK with his family, he is determined to make his dream of running his own restaurant a reality once more.

All proceeds raised will be donated to Unicef’s efforts in Syria.
