Celebration of Dahlias
Late Summer floral immersion - A full day workshop devoted to seasonal garden floristry and sustainable gardening
A full day workshop devoted to seasonal garden floristry and sustainable gardening. With refreshments on arrival, the morning sees Thomas Broom-Hughes discussing Petersham Nurseries’ favourites – Dahlias – from growing cut flowers to arranging, styling and tablescaping. Guests will have the opportunity to create their own distinctively styled bouquet to take back home.
In the afternoon, guests will be seated for a light lunch of dishes based on Petersham Nurseries’ philosophy of slow food, sourced responsibly and cooked simply to allow the flavours to shine through.
At the end of the day, each guest takes home the Petersham Nurseries book – the story of the Boglione family in their own words and transports readers through the changing seasons at the nursery to the family farm in Devon and the Tuscan vineyards. With 240 beautiful colour photographs by Andrew Montgomery, expert styling tips for the home and 36 seasonal recipes.
