Short, insightful stories on tea to accompany cakes from the Teahouse.

About
You will be taken through a tasting of several classic and rare teas by Jennifer Wood, Founder of Canton Tea, to understand how tea became the world's most consumed drink, second only to water. We touch on the culture and etiquette of early tea-drinking among the British aristocracy, the myths around particular Chinese teas, and a taste of the first English Breakfast blend, recreated from the original recipe made entirely from Chinese teas in 1843 by an Englishman in New York.?

Set within a private glasshouse, this tasting includes cake from the Teahouse and a tin of Petersham Nurseries tea to take home.

NB. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please note parking is restricted in the surrounding area and we encourage our visitors to travel via alternative means of transport whenever possible.
