Join us for a special wine dinner in celebration of British Game Week (25th November – 1st December) and Siepi’s 25th anniversary.

On Thursday 28th November, join Giovanni Mazzei and the Petersham Cellar team for an exclusive wine dinner hosted within the elegant surroundings of The Petersham’s private dining room. Hosted by Giovanni Mazzei, husband to Managing Director Lara Boglione, we will taste through five Siepi vintages of limited edition.

Siepi in Tuscany has been owned by Mazzei family since 1435 making it some of the oldest terroir in Tuscany. Siepi beautifully synthesises Tuscan tradition, embodied through the use of 50% Sangiovese, combined with 50% of the international grape variety Merlot, thereby becoming a true ‘super Tuscan’, taking the best from both worlds. It is the combination of painstaking viti- and viniculture and the addition of Merlot that distinguishes this wine from other leading estates in Tuscany. Siepi is "one of the 50 wines that changed Italy wine style", Gambero Rosso.

On the night, guests can enjoy a specially curated five course meal by Head Chef Martin Sweeney based around British Game - a week-long celebration of promoting and enjoying wild game. Each Siepi wine has been chosen to pair beautifully with each dish.
The menu, including wine and service is as follows:
