Harry Boglione is the founder, owner and director of Haye Farm in Devon. As a child, he established the kitchen gardens at Petersham House and since then has developed his passion and knowledge for growing natural, fine produce. Taking ownership of the farm in 2014, together with his partner Emily and their young family, Harry grows, harvests and sells only organic produce to his customers, supplying Gloucester Old Spot pigs, chickens, rabbits, ducks and a whole host of delicious organic fruits and vegetables to all Petersham Nurseries restaurants, as well as many other prestigious restaurants. Harry is an avid supporter of the Land Workers Alliance.
A 66-acre mixed organic farm set in the breath taking hills of East Devon, whose aspiration is to create sustainable food systems, whilst encouraging an increase in biodiversity and wildlife. Rather than viewing each individual crop or herd on the farm as a single entity each performs a role in the wider system, where each elements’ externalities supports another. Systems are rotational and continually moving. This improves soil fertility, ensuring crop productivity whilst maintaining healthy plant and animal welfare. It also eliminates the build up of disease, parasites, pests, nitrates and other negative impacts on the land and environment. Through embracing these practices, produce is of the highest quality in terms of taste, nutritional value and animal welfare. The aspiration of Haye Farm is to create sustainable food systems which support high levels of productivity, whilst encouraging an increase in biodiversity and wildlife.
Haye Farm also offers delightful accommodation, the cottage is full of character and charm. An ideal place to escape to the country, only a short drive from Lyme Regis.
