At Petersham Nurseries, it’s all about colours; I never worry about things needing to match – just trust your instinct and it will come together. I don’t tend to choose a particular colour scheme but am always inspired by nature, and bring beauty to the table from what is growing in the garden. I’m also influenced by the season, leaning towards structure and form in the winter, freshness and new life in the spring, soft colours that turn to bright throughout the summer months and then burnt oranges, rust and brown in the autumn.
