Join us for this exclusive evening, celebrating the farm to fork philosophy and the relationship between chef and farmer. Launching the Farms Not Factories series of two minute video clips for social media with a number of renowned chefs and pig farmers, our Executive Chef, Damian Clisby will be joined in the kitchen by James Golding from The Pig Hotels. All who are behind this campaign are passionate about raising pigs to high welfare standards as well as the production of the best quality of meat in terms of flavour and texture. By exposing the true costs of cheap meat from animal factories, their aim is to inspire consumers to make more considered decisions in their meat consumption.
Tickets will include a seasonal Bellini on arrival, a three-course feast style sharing menu* with James Golding and Damian Clisby both cooking a course. Wine will be donated by Petersham Nurseries. All proceeds from the evening will go to Farms Not Factories.
Damian Clisby and Harry Boglione, owner of Haye Farm and supplier of pork to Petersham Nurseries are both involved in the #TurnYourNoseUp campaign. Previous supporters include Joanna Lumley, Stephen Fry, Jeremy Irons, Jon Snow, Dominic West & Helen McCrory who have all posted humorous selfies or videos turning their nose up. The full video will be launched on the evening.
Power lies in the hands of the consumer, each and every one of us can help change the system if we choose to. Help us to support this worthy cause by joining us for this inspiring evening.
